Olivia & Kyle’s North Georgia Wedding at Willow Falls Resort
A College Love Story
Olivia and Kyle’s love story began in college through a mutual friend. One weekend, Olivia went home with her friend and met Kyle at a party. The connection was instant, and soon after, Kyle transferred to the University of Florida, where they both graduated (Go Gators!) and got engaged.
Inspiration and Vision
The theme for Olivia and Kyle’s wedding was a spring floral garden party. "I have always loved bright colors and being outdoors, especially in the mountains, so I wanted to tie all of that together," Olivia explained. The vibrant colors and natural beauty of springtime in the mountains were perfectly captured in their wedding, creating a joyful and lively atmosphere.
The perfect venue
Willow Falls Resort in Blue Ridge, Georgia, was the ideal venue for Olivia and Kyle's wedding. "It had accommodations on-site that were included with the package and was close to accommodations for out-of-town guests," Olivia shared. This made it convenient for their guests and provided a beautiful backdrop for their celebration.
Working with Lydia
Olivia and Kyle sought Lydia's help for coordination and lite design services after struggling with budgeting and unresponsive vendors. "Budgeting was hard. I tried to plan everything myself and had spent most of my budget before realizing I needed help. Lydia saved me money and more by recognizing vendors trying to take advantage of me and providing great alternatives," Olivia said.
Choosing Lydia and her company was an easy decision. "After talking with Lydia, I felt comfortable and confident that I was in great hands. She was from the area and very well-connected, which helped tremendously with vendor coordination," Olivia added.
Special Touches and Memorable Moments
Olivia and Kyle’s wedding was filled with meaningful touches, such as a photo table honoring loved ones who had passed away. "I am very close with my family and wanted to ensure my loved ones were honored in some way," Olivia shared. She also pinned a photo of her granny and charms for her brother and sister who had passed away on her bouquet.
Despite some challenges with vendors, Olivia's favorite part of the planning process was hiring Lydia. "Lydia is awesome! She is extremely well organized and always makes sure things get done. I cannot recommend her enough!" Olivia praised.
A Dream Wedding
When asked about her favorite moment from the wedding day, Olivia fondly recalled, "Getting to change into my reception dress and hitting the dance floor! That is my favorite part of every wedding." The celebration was everything she had dreamed of, thanks to Lydia’s expert coordination and support.
